Don’t Put Your Life on Hold
Posted on May 10, 2008
At Kis@Borg our motto is that life’s too short to waste. That’s why I find it a shame when people put their life on hold for financial reasons. A good example is the problem of dealing with a lawsuit or claim without the proper means to handle it. Such a case can take months or years, leaving you stranded with no outcome and a pile of legal bills. That’s where lawsuit financing comes into place. Companies like LawMax share the risk and take on the legal fees involved with the case themselves. If the case settles you can pay out of the settlement and if not you have nothing to lose.

Incredible Advances in Surveillance Device
Posted on May 10, 2008
Private investigation and industrial counter-espionage makes use of many devices that are so technically advanced, it makes the job a lot easier and exciting. A pinhole camera can be placed behind a wall so that the next door room can be monitored audibly and visually. It would need the examination of every walls, floor and ceiling surface with a magnifying glass to detect the camera lenses that are the size of the head of a pin. It can also photograph silently in almost total darkness.
Another surveillance camera is concealed in a small mobile telephone with the camera lens recording through a tiny hole typically used for the microphone. Still another is a micro transmitter surveillance bug that is powered by a miniature battery that can last for three months. It can broadcast up to one thousand yards to a radio receiver on any chosen FM frequency.

The Likely Victims of Identity Theft
Posted on May 3, 2008
While all people are at the risk at some point in time to being a victim of identity theft, some are naturally more at risk due to the way they handle their financial and personal transactions. The factors that would affect a person’s vulnerability to this crime include the use of one’s personal computer for online banking transactions, online purchases and payment for services such as tickets for travel; discarding of credit card offers without shredding them; storing of personal information in one’s computer; and using the social security number for identification.
These daily activities expose people to an unwanted risk. Come to think of it, even the simple act of using a cell phone pose a risk due to the possibility of interception of valuable information. As a general rule, the more available personal data is and the more leniently it is handled, the greater the risk to ending up as a victim.

The Original Cell Phone Technology
Posted on May 2, 2008
Analog is the original cell phone technology and is largely considered as obsolete today. After serving its purpose, it met its natural demise due to the many disadvantages associated with it as compared to newer technology. For one, the battery life is only about a fourth of that of a digital phone. They are also more susceptible to noise, disturbance and dropped calls, not to mention the poor voice quality.
Many new features such as date, time, text messaging, web access, among others, are not available on analog cell phones. They also need much more power which has more potential of disturbing other electronic equipments such as pacemakers. Nonetheless, all good things have their beginnings which pave the way for better versions and models.
